Flashing an Android Phone to work in Australia.?

Author admin    Category General     Tags , , , ,

Question by Peter: Flashing an Android Phone to work in Australia.?
If I purchase an android phone from Thailand, will it work in australia? (like 3G and shit like that…)
If not, can I flash it to another reigon’s ROM to make it work?

Please help me ITS URGENT ><

Thanks in advance.

Best answer:

Answer by choo
Whether your phone will work in Australia depends on whether the carrier you bought the phone from has locked it to their network.

If it is, you might have to either ask your carrier for an unlock code or figure out how to unlock it by rooting your phone.

After that, your phone will work anywhere on your current flashed phone.

Reflashing will not solve your problem.
