Android Phone HTC Hero what will happen if i wipe all data and do the factory restart? will my unlock be present? I want to upgrade it to MoDaco’s 2.7 Rom. Without the factory reset it gives me error on htc.sense

No Data will not lose While Unlock….For the safe Unlock You need to select one Good Method among all….You can unlock the mobile using the Unlock code,.In here http://www.mobile-unlocker.com/htc-hero/rs2wp9/ i got the Unlock code at low cost and unlock the mobile…

Once a phone is unlocked, it’s permanent unless you re-lock it. At anytime when you flash to a Custom ROM, you’ll need to wipe data, otherwise Custom ROM will not work properly. Also, you don’t need to do a factory restart, flashing to a Custom ROM does it automatically.
