    @davomrmac Finally it’s working. I dont know why, the only thing i did different was leave it on Airplane mode all night and when i tried again the next day it suddenly started downloading! ;-)

    @unlockthepower Just keep retrying, or switch wifi off and on again.

    Can you, just like on the iphone, have one account which you can use to buy any app?
    And are there vouchers for the android market available?

    @onepiecefan2010 Free to browse yes. Some apps are then free, some are paid for.

    @theyleftusallbehind Thanks for that.

    @leonpeeon No crashes for me on this one. Hmmm, the iPhone multitasking done right could win the game!

  • leonpeeon August 31, 2010 at 3:36 pm

    Great reviews.
    I’m very tempted to get this one as my next mobile phone.
    Do you get any random crashes? I get those sometimes on my aging 1st gen iPhone.
    Also, do you think there’s anything Apple could do with this upcoming iPhone that would make the Desire much less… well… desirable? (and I’m not just talking about the cool factor, of which the iPhone has plenty)
    Thanks!

  • drummerkid1993 August 31, 2010 at 4:39 pm

    @amazingagain I suppose you think that ASDA is a rip off of Tesco? You can’t invent the wheel twice.

  • nickbu1 August 31, 2010 at 5:08 pm

    @davomrmac ok, thanks very much. I think I am going to get it now :)

  • davomrmac August 31, 2010 at 5:30 pm

    @nickbu1 I am on T-Mobile with a good signal. It goes without saying better and more advanced phones will come out in the future, but for the time being I think that the Desire is the best.

  • davomrmac August 31, 2010 at 5:48 pm

    @desaironak11 You cannot install apps on the memory card, unless you alter/root the device. However, I have found there is plenty of space for apps.

  • nickbu1 August 31, 2010 at 5:49 pm

    I am just about to get the Desire on T-Mobile. You are on T-Mobile aren’t you? Few questions, do you get god signal?? (If you are on T-Mobile). Do you think any better phones will come out for the same price in the near future? and should I get it?

  • desaironak11 August 31, 2010 at 5:58 pm

    hi dav good video thanks for that… i have heard that it has only limited amount of memory to install application… does that means to install any application i cannot use my memory card… please help me out with this.. thanks again

  • zkillers80 August 31, 2010 at 6:38 pm

    @JereHakala thanks for the info

  • davomrmac August 31, 2010 at 6:51 pm

    @largy1964 Yes it does multitask. I prefer the iTunes Apps Store for ease of use, but the Android Market as you can see is perfectly OK.
