Question by evieELECTRO (i ♥ Muse): How do you upload pics from an LG Android phone?
I want to upload some of my photos onto my laptop which is on windows vista, i connected it by the USB cable but it says if i have a disk that came with it then put it in, but my phone didnt come with a disk, what do i do?? My phone is a LG Optimus Android phone…Thanks! x

Hi there, I’m going to write this in layman’s terms as I am not sure how much you know about PC’s and cell phones. But this should be good general knowledge that will get you where you need to go.

First, buy a micro sd card for the sd card slot in your phone they are very cheap. You can go to Walmart where they have micro sd cards and sell cell phones, so maybe someone who is kind and works in the electronics department can help you insert the card if you get confused.

Once the micro sd card is in your phone, the pictures should load into the card. You should be able to get the photos onto the micro sd card easily by going into your photos and looking at help menus, etc if they don’t load automatically. Once the photos are on the micro sd card, then take that card out and insert it into your computer’s micro sd card reader.

OR….. if your cell phone has a usb cable and then you plug the phone directly into your computer (using the usb cable), a dialog box should pop up allowing you to view and manipulate the info from your micro sd card in your phone.
