Announced in November, 2009, the XPERIA X10 is one of the latest touch-phones and definitely one of the top class products among Sony Ericsson mobile phones. This is the first Android based phone from Sony Ericsson and includes a large 4 inches touchscreen which is particularly suitable for web-browsing, playing videos as well as SatNav. Built-in is a GPS receiver that synchronises with the included Google Maps application. Essentially it is a quad-band GSM based phone but it also supports 3G service network. Supporting a quad-band GSM reception and 3G network this handset comes loaded with a 3.5 inches touchscreen. This Symbian device comes with excellent multi-media capabilities and includes a special PowerVR SGX graphics accelerator for enhanced quality in display and imaging. The camera needs no elaboration as it includes some of the best and capable smart features available in camera-phones today. The music/video player capably copes with most file formats and provides best options for entertainment. Other prominent features that have found a place in this magnificent Sony Ericsson mobile phone includes Wi-Fi, 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth, Email, GPS and an FM radio.

Manufactured from a high proportion of recycled plastics and by minimising the use of hazardous chemicals, the new Sony Ericsson Elm is expected to be released in the Q1 of 2010. This is one of the latest handsets to be included in the GreenHeart series of phones from Sony Ericsson. In a conscious effort to make phones environment friendly Sony Ericsson have added a lot of ‘green’ features into the phone like a low-power consumption charger, electronic manual instead of a paper booklet, “Walk Mate eco application”, “Green calculator” and a sales pack with minimum packaging to miminise waste. Weighing just 90 grams, the Elm is also a very light model and comes with quad-band GSM reception as well as 3G service support. Although this one is a mid-range phone, it still manages to pack in loads of features-Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G HSDPA, GPS, built-in web browser, Email, media player and a stereo FM radio. Also featured is a 5 mega pixel camera with auto-focus and an LED flash.
